“Alpha,” the ladies bowed.
The Luna signalled for them to get to work. Sara was still in my arms when the one in charge began to speak.
“We just need twenty minutes, Alpha. She would be ready and waiting in your bed once we’re done.
“Please, take me to your room, Nick,” Sara whispered.
“Yes! Okay!”
I lifted her as the gasps erupted around me.
Some of the ladies blushed scarlet with their eyes darting anywhere else but at me.
I knew what sight they beheld below my waist and didn’t care. I needed to be alone with Sara.
As I carried her out of the plane, one of the ladies raced beside me, begging,
“Just a bathe, that’s all we need to do. Maybe a wax too.”
I tuned the girl out. Sara’s face was against my chest. She was embarrassed as hell but couldn’t help what was happening in her body.

The Claris girl and my mother were still talking.

“Don’t you want to know why the chief and I went to get her?” My mother asked.
We had reached the large double–doors.

appeared sincere.

Various perfumes filled the room as the ladies began laying out things. None could overcome the scent of my mate.
“You need to let them get to work, Nick-”

My mother knew I was talking to her even though my eyes were on Sara. I took her hand from my shirt and started kissing her fingers.
“Oh, you don’t? You actually think I like this picture before me? I want to throw up!” I felt the Luna waved her fingers at us as she spoke. “Believe it or not, I don’t need to drive your mate into heat to bring her here to you, Alpha!”
