Believing In Each Other

I sighed as I soaked in the bathtub. Dashawn was out with his sisters, and having this
moment alone was kind of cathartic. Don’t get me wrong, I love being with my man, but I haven’t had any time to myself just to think in the last couple of months.
I’ve met the man of my dreams. I met the family of my dreams. I have a wonderful fulfilling job, and I’m going to be a mommy of two in seven and half months. That last thought is surreal. Just two months ago, I was single, and ready to take on the corporate world. How funny how life changes so fast.
I had a lot of fun today with Robbie. He’s quickly becoming one of my best friends. Owen and Hex took to him this last weekend. They pampered him and showed him so much love you.
would have thought he was one of their children.
We went and ate a quick bite before we went to the spa where we both got a massage and a seaweed wrap. Then we shopped for a couple of hours. I. bought several pieces of La Perla lingerie and some new heeled boots and high heels. We left the purchases in the car and
went to the auction house that was suggested.
The girls weren’t kidding when they said a hundred million might not be enough. This was a high–end auction with some fantastic antiques. Some art pieces were going in the tens of millions, and I was astonished how these people just spent that kind of money like it was nothing. Well, I guess when you’re as rich or more as Dashawn was, you could. I was nervous about telling him how I bought a château in Scotland for thirty million. But it looked so beautiful in the picture with all its lush green rolling hills, and it had sheep!
I let my mind drift to all the trouble surrounding us. The mysterious gifts, now this email fraud. I just hope this didn’t screw with the company too much. And all that sh*t that Sheryl spewed, some of it hit a cord within me. What if the shareholders demand he get rid of me for the company’s sake? I honestly wouldn’t blame them for demanding that. The company was
their livelihood.
Tears sprang to my eyes and I couldn’t help but cry. I loved him so much. I didn’t want to make him choose between the company and me.
“Baby!”
I screamed as he burst into the bathroom. My body flailed into the tub. That got my water

works stopped, and I glared at him.
He was laughing and bent over, “I’m so sorry. I heard you crying, and I thought you were hurt.”
“You scared the cr*p out of me. Make some noise when you come into the room.”
He kept laughing.
“Get out,” I demanded.
“No, I’m sorry really. Scoot up, let me come in.”
He undressed quickly and climbed in behind me. He sighed as he settled in, and I leaned against him. His hand went to my stomach and he started rubbing it.
“Why were you crying?”
“Just something that b*tch Sheryl said.”
“What the f*ck did she say?”
“That the shareholders were going to make you get rid of me for the sake of the company, and
you would do it.”
“I’d rather burn the company to the ground. I will never give you up. You have half

“Are you serious?”
“I am.”
“I never looked, so how much percentage is that?”
my shares.
“There are ten shareholders; they each have two percent, only one is new and that’s Ashton. Baxter sold his last share to him and is already out. Kimber and Cia each have ten. I had sixty,
but now I have thirty, and you have thirty.”
“Holy sh*t, Dashawn, you’re crazy!”
“Crazy in love baby. So I don’t want you to worry about what Sheryl said. Because it isn’t true. In fact, I am thinking about giving the option to the shareholders that they can resign and keep their two percent, or I can buy them out, except Ashton, of course. But I will no longer have
them try and control my life.”
I thought about that and nodded, then took a deep breath, “Dashawn, I bought a château in
Scotland. It has twenty acres and sheep.”
“Really? Scotland? I haven’t been there. Can’t wait to visit.”

I turned and looked at him.
“You aren’t mad?”
“Mad? Why would I be mad?”
“I spent thirty million dollars,” I blurted.
He laughed, actually laughed at me. He turned me and brought me back against his chest. He cupped my br*ast and rolled my n*pples gently.
“It’s a good investment. We have sheep, do you know how many?”
“A hundred and twenty,” I moaned.
“Hmm, that’s good wool. I’ll do some research.”
I was sitting here panting, and he’s talking about researching wool. I quickly stood up and turned. He looked me up and down, licking his lips. I stepped closer.
“Stick out that tongue and let me f*ck it.”
His eyes blazed. He grabbed me by the a*s and brought me to his mouth. He did as I asked, and I moved my hips back and forth as I used his tongue to find my pleasure. He pulled me
closer, so every time my hips came forward, an inch of his tip went into me.
“Oh, God, yes! Dashawn, more more!”
He growled, vibrating against my cl*t and plunged deeper into my p*ssy. I screamed as my orgasm shot through me. He put my legs over his shoulders and he stood. I grabbed onto his head as he turned and leaned me against the shower walls. He spread me more and f*cked his tongue in and out of me. He made noises like he was eating his favorite meal, and it was driving me wild. He pulled his tongue out of me and latched on to my cl*t and flicked it rapidly, and I exploded, squirting all into his mouth.
“Mmmmm, f*ck you’re so sweet. You taste so f*cking good.” He cleaned me up with his tongue and then kissed my tummy. He slid me down his chest and slowly penetrated me with his long hard d*ck. I moaned.
“Yeah, baby. Feels good, right? Your p*ssy’s so slick and warm and tight. I love this p*ssy. It’s my favorite place to be. You feel like home, Sweet Girl. So. F*cking. Good,” he said, with each
thrust.
I rolled my hips and squeezed the walls of my p*ssy. Dashawn groaned, and his head fell
back in bliss. My eyes shot down to his tattoo with my nickname and name. Something
primal came over me. I rolled my hips faster, and squeezed harder, forcing him to pick up his

pace.
“F*ck baby, do it again. Squeeze me so hard.” I did, and I grabbed him around the back of his
neck and brought myself forward and sunk my teeth into the flesh where his neck met his shoulder. He roared and, with one last thrust, started c*mming, which triggered my orgasm and I sobbed out my pleasure.
“You bit me,” he chuckled.
I kissed my teeth marks, “I’m sorry, it was the heat of the moment.”
“Never apologize for marking me baby.”
“I want you to mark me. But I can’t until the babies are born.”
“What do you mean?”
“I want your name on me like this,” I said, tracing my name on his pec.
“Yeah?” he said, smiling.
“Yeah,” I said, smiling back at him.
He kissed me and then trailed kisses down my jaw and then to my neck, which had me
shivering. He sucked hard and I moaned. I could feel his tongue move against my skin. He
unlatched from my neck and the grin on his face was a little giddy.
“That’s the first time I’ve given a hickey,” he said.
“It’s

first time getting one,” I giggled.
We kissed again, and then he turned on the shower and we cleaned up.
Later, we lay in bed. His hand on my stomach.
“I have a theory about what happened today,” he said to me.
“Okay, let’s hear it.”
“I think Avery is the one framing you. I don’t know why. But I have surveillance.” He grabbed
his phone and gave it to me after pulling up a video. I watched her walk through the lobby,
ride up the elevator and then go to my desk. You could clearly see her messing with my
computer.
“She looks so much like me, even I would have thought that was me if I didn’t know better.”
“I also think she’s the one sending the gifts and texts.”
“But why?”

“To break us up? If we didn’t know each other the way we do, the gifts and texts would have worked. I would have accused you or vice versa of having an affair, because why else would you be getting cryptic gifts and messages?”
“And with my background, I would have walked away because I don’t suffer fools,” I said. Because it’s what I did with her. “It makes sense.”
“That’s where I was tonight. She texted me earlier today at work. I showed Cia and Kimber. We made a plan to trap her at a restaurant, but she never showed up.”
“And you’re sure it’s her?”
“No, but it’s the only thing that makes sense. Now we just have to wait to see what she does next and come up with another plan.”
He kissed my shoulder and snuggled me closer.
“Thank you for believing in me, Sweet Girl. I love you so much.”
“I trust you, Dashawn. You’ve never given me a reason not to. I love you too.”
He fell asleep minutes later, but I was seething. She’s messed with my life one too many times. Maybe she isn’t behind the gifts and messages, but she is behind the framing.
I put my hand over Dashawn’s, which was over my tummy. I had a family to protect, and I was going to protect them.
