CHAPTER 171: DARE TO LOVE ME, My Fiancée, Part 1
Ashley
I hugged Will tighter and settled against his chest. I didn’t want to get out of bed; I wanted to stay by his side all day, feel his warmth, and his kisses, and have him make love to me. We’d had some incredible days together, and Will had proven to be the man I must have dreamed of at some point in my life. I was happy, delighted.
“Mmmmm,” he murmured in a husky voice, kissing my arm. He’d been staying at my place
these days. He’d declared me his–his girl, his girlfriend, his woman–and I’d declared him
mine. We were sure we wanted to continue this adventure filled with love that we’d started.
I smiled with my eyes closed as I felt a kiss on my head. Who would have thought that the
playboy I couldn’t stand could be sweet and even romantic?
Reluctantly, I got out of bed to take a shower. I was lost in my thoughts under the warm water
until I felt his hands on my waist.
“Did you call me?” he whispered tenderly, leaving a kiss on my neck.
“No, I didn’t,” I said, turning to kiss him.
“Mmmm, I thought I saw that beautiful naked backside of yours moving towards the shower. You know you, your body, and your skin are my greatest temptation and invitation,” he said before kissing me, turning me around, and entering me with force.

After getting ready and saying goodbye to Alaia and the little ones, Nick had traveled to L.A. last night, and Will would do so today. They had an important matter to attend to. We headed to the car, and I leaned on his shoulder as he hugged me. Even though he’d be back in a couple of days for the fashion show, I felt like I’d miss him terribly.
“Is this trip necessary?” I asked sadly, hearing a small laugh rumble in his chest.
“You’ve asked me the same thing three times this morning; it’s only two days,” he said, and I bit my lips to keep from laughing. I let my guard down when I was with him.
“I wanted you by my side a little longer, until the day of the collection presentation,” I said. He’d been a great help these days, accompanying me to some meetings to maximize our time together. There was nothing better than feeling the support of the man you loved.
“I’ll be here for that day, I promise,” he said, kissing my head and opening the door when we arrived at the hangar. The plane crew greeted us and took Will’s luggage.

“I’m going to miss you,” he said, wrapping me in his arms and kissing my nose, which I loved.
“I’ll miss you more,” I said, and he showed me that beautiful smile I adored. We looked into each other’s eyes in silence, and there wasn’t much to say; our gazes had said it all. I stood on tiptoe to kiss him–these kisses, my goodness, these kisses that made me tremble from head
to toe.
With one last short kiss, he headed to the plane, and I waited for it to take off. When it was gone, I let out a deep sigh and walked back to the car. I had to go to the store; at this point, I already wished to be at the moment when the runway lights would go out and everything would have gone wonderfully in the collection presentation.
“But what’s with the long face?” Tino questioned when he saw me enter the store. He gave me two kisses; I’d taken off my sunglasses. “Don’t tell me it’s because of the handsome guy. Woman of God, he’s only gone for a couple of days. What a sight!” he exclaimed, shaking his
imaginary hair and turning around.
“Let me be sad for not seeing my love for two days!” I protested and laughed; Tino and I had already started.
I went to my desk and began reviewing what I had pending for the day.
“Auntie!” Noah’s shout snapped me out of it, and I only felt his little arms around my neck. Alana climbed onto my lap with her brother, and Alaia arrived with Loli, who looked like she hadn’t slept much.
“Are you okay, Loli?” I asked, approaching her after greeting Alaia.
“I’m fine, I just got up very early this morning to get back in time from my grandparents‘
house.”
She blushed deeply, and I squinted at her. I looked at Alaia, and I knew she’d thought the same thing as me.
“My kids!” Tino exclaimed as he arrived, and the little ones hugged him.
“What happened?” he asked, seeing us surrounding Loli.
“I don’t know, Loli is going to tell us. Have a seat.”
We gave Loli the third degree, and she spilled the beans, from hearing Gavin say he just wanted to take her to bed to last night when they met. He’d carried her to her Airbnb, taken care of her injury, and they’d spent the night together. The cherry on top was that this morning he’d confessed his love to her. What a wonderful night! Oh, Gavin.
“But for the love of Dior, I’ve got goosebumps and everything! I knew it, I knew that tall,

tempting blonde wanted our Loli. My plan worked, but you didn’t trust me,” Tino celebrated,
and what could we say? He’d known better than us.
“And what did you say to that unique and unexpected declaration of love?” I asked.
“I just returned to the UK, I was stunned and couldn’t say anything,” she confessed, and we
were just as stunned as she was.
“You didn’t tell him that you also have feelings for him? After all, the one who’s going to faint is me!” Tino exclaimed, fanning himself.
“I couldn’t. No one had ever confessed their love to me like that. I didn’t know what to do; I thought I was going to faint, and my heart was beating fast and slow at the same time. My goodness, how embarrassing, fainting from the shock of a love confession,” she covered her face.
“Calm down, Loli. We don’t all react the same way to things, and that’s okay. We’ll think of something so you two can meet and talk,” Alaia said, hugging her by the shoulders, “if that’s what you want, dear.”
“Yes, I want to,” she nodded, and Tino and I couldn’t help but let out a cry of excitement.
“Love is still in the air!” he jumped, and the little ones jumped with him, making us laugh.
“Ashley,” we all turned toward the door where we’d heard my grandfather’s voice. The little ones had already gone to him. The precious smile on Darius Russell’s face for his grandchildren was priceless.
He’d called me this morning and said he had something to tell me, but I hadn’t thought it would be important enough to come see me.
