CHAPTER 165: DARE TO LOVE ME Nobody Part 2
Loli
I saw him enter the elevator and come to a halt when I noticed Gavin looking at me with his
hands in his pockets before the doors closed. I stood there, stunned, not knowing what to do.
“Loli, let’s go to a club. The night is young, and Lau and I don’t want it to end. It’s been so long
since we could be together,” Ana sang, and I could see the excitement in her eyes and her
sister’s when they arrived where we were.
“Okay, you’re right,” I nodded.
We all left the restaurant and called a car for my mother and my aunts.
“I want to go with you,” Beli stood in front of us.
“Sweetie, you couldn’t get in; you have to be of legal age to go to those places,” I caressed his
cheek, and he frowned and made a cute pout.
“Come on, I’ve got a few desserts from here. You can have more if you come with us,” my
mother took his hand, and he went with them, not looking very happy.
We arrived at the club my cousins knew; the atmosphere was lively, and the music was
blaring. They looked happy. I took out my phone and hesitated to call Tino and Ash. I’d seen
them very busy, with the fashion show coming up, and they might want to rest, so I decided
not to call them.
My cousins knew the guys who worked at the bar and led us to a table. They introduced me to
their friends who joined us. We danced to the rhythm of the music, and I enjoyed the night,
moving and feeling lively. I loved having my cousins with me.
I decided not to drink alcohol; I’d have to drive to take the girls home.
I was dancing with one of the guys. He was tall and blonde. I looked at him, searching for everything that differentiated him from Gavin. Could I not get rid of him? My mind kept going
back to that brute, with everything that happened.
I closed my eyes and turned around, bumping into a hard body. I opened them and found
Gavin’s large figure. Not knowing what to do, I kept moving my body. He looked at the blonde l
was dancing with, and suddenly, I felt the other guy stepping away. Gavin started to move, making it clear he knew how to dance. My stomach fluttered as I watched him dance so well.

Gavin
I left the restaurant after paying the bill. It was a coincidence to run into her here. The guys had spoken well of this place, so I decided to come for dinner, and unexpectedly, she arrived
with the women who were part of her family. It bothered me to know she thought I only
wanted her because I felt like a child whose toy had been taken away, which couldn’t be
further from the truth. I wanted her; no other woman had made me feel like she did. My heart
raced when her eyes locked on mine, and I swore I melted when I saw her smile. I’d realized
my behavior had been that of a complete i***t, but I’d never been in a situation like this, and I’d
done everything wrong. I couldn’t stand her rejection. I’d try to do things right from now on, or I
was sure I’d lose her.
I decided to wait until they left. I wanted to give her space while I worked on changing her
perception of me.
I watched them leave the building, and the group split up. Loli and the other two girls got into
the car of the blonde, who looked stunning tonight, and I saw them heading in a different
direction from the older woman and the girl.
Without thinking twice, I followed Loli’s car, and minutes later, we arrived at a club. I followed
them closely, finding a table where I could see them without being noticed, and started
observing her. The flame of jealousy ignited when I saw a few guys approach them, but I
decided to control myself. I couldn’t let jealousy dominate me again.
“So, here you are,” Gus sat next to me and ordered a drink.
“Where else would I be?” I’d sent him a message asking him to come.
“This situation is getting worrying,” he joked, and I raised an eyebrow at him.
“You’ve never been in love,” I said, taking a sip of my drink while ensuring Loli and her
companions could enjoy the night peacefully.
The night progressed, and I couldn’t contain the urge to approach her, so I did.
“Are you sure?” Gus asked, seeing my actions, and I nodded.
I walked over to where she was dancing, smiling as I noticed how much she was enjoying the moment. The rhythm caught me, starting with a nod of my head. She turned around and fixed her gaze on me. We looked at each other.
“What are you doing here?” she questioned after a short silence where our gazes were the
protagonists.
“It was a coincidence,” I commented. It was, from the restaurant. She watched me, seeming

not to believe me.
“Are you following me?” she asked seriously.
“I decided to give you space, but that doesn’t mean I can’t watch over you from afar. Look on the bright side; you have a personal bodyguard or two,” I glanced to the side and saw Gus had approached and was now talking to the girls at the table, who seemed charmed by my friend. I noticed Loli rolling her eyes and stifled a laugh, though my eyes must have shown that her
gesture amused me.
“I don’t need a bodyguard,” she said, annoyed, “and you shouldn’t have paid the bill at the restaurant. I’ll pay you back.”
I observed her lovely face and smiled. The money didn’t matter to me. My family had enough, and that sum was nothing compared to what I wanted to do for her. I just needed her to
accept me in her life.
“That won’t be necessary,” I managed to respond. The club’s lights brightened, and the music volume decreased, signaling it was time to leave.
“I’ll cover it,” I said, leaving some dollars in the hands of the waiter who came for the bill. He
looked at the bills, nodded, and walked away.
Loli was about to say something, but I turned around, and a group of girls stopped me. I
frowned and turned to see Loli watching us.
“We’ve been watching you, and we’d love for you to join us… home,” one of the women said, looking conspiratorially at a brunette next to her.
Gus whispered in my ear, translating. The girl noticed.
“We could talk about your country,” she now spoke in English. I noticed Loli was slightly
distracted by one of her cousins.
“I appreciate your invitation,” I responded, “but all my attention and interest are on a beautiful blonde,” I fixed my gaze on Loli, and she quickly turned to look at me, “who doesn’t reciprocate,” I showed a gesture of disappointment, and Loli’s eyes were wide open in my direction. The girls turned to look at her, as did her cousins. I walked to the exit of the establishment to wait for them to leave and ensure they got home safely.
“Damn, Gavin, you’re screwed,” Gus mocked, and I smiled as I saw the reason for my irrational behavior leaving with her cousins towards their car.

I stood like a statue, hearing him talk to those girls.
“Who was that? Did he talk about you?” Lau looked at me excitedly, “But he’s so hot, he’s
gorgeous,” she stated, and I turned to look at her.
“No one, and no, he didn’t talk about me,” I vehemently denied believing his words. I liked this
game less and less. Maybe I’d become a challenge, a kind of obsession for him. I huffed,
annoyed..
I took them to the club’s exit, and we headed to the car to go home. I dropped the girls off at their place, a few blocks from mine, then parked my car and entered the house, feeling exhausted.
I settled into bed, sighing deeply, and my foolish, treacherous heart got excited, recalling his words.
