CHAPTER 154: DARE TO LOVE ME A Good Friend
Ashley
“Hija,” Paula spoke as she adjusted the beautiful dress she had decided to wear that night.
“But, Mama Pau!” Tino placed his hands on his hips.
“Can we talk about this at home, more calmly?” My uncle approached Paula and embraced
her.
“I agree, love. It’s late, and the kids should go to bed,” Nick said, taking Alaia by the waist. She
accepted, and in silence, we walked towards the elevators.
“But, they hid it well,” I commented with a smile on my lips. Given how stubborn Paula had
seemed, I thought my uncle would never manage to win her over and that they would never
end up together.
Tino fidgeted with his hands and looked everywhere but at me. I narrowed my eyes at him.
“You little troublemaker, did you know about this?!” I shouted. Of course, he knew. Tino
glanced at me sideways and didn’t respond.
“I bet you knew! I’m offended. You’ve never been able to keep anything from us, but you kept
Paula’s secret,” I accused him, and Alaia looked thoughtful.
“It’s Mama Pau, dear, for God’s sake! I owe her respect,” he responded.
“It’s clear you don’t respect us,” I said indignantly.
“Ash, honey, please,” Alaia pleaded, and I had to bite my tongue, not before giving Tino a dirty
look. William chuckled softly and kissed my neck.
We arrived at the houses, and Tino and Tony headed off to their apartment.
“Daughter…” My Uncle Patrick approached Alaia at the entrance of the house.
“It’s okay, Dad. We’ll talk about this tomorrow. We’re all tired tonight. Good night,” she said as
she entered with Nick holding her hand, each carrying one of the little ones who had fallen
asleep on the way here.
“It was lovely meeting you, Will,” my mother said goodbye to Will and winked at me. It seemed
she had approved of him. Thank goodness! I thought the story would be very different from
my father’s.
I took the hand of the man I adored and led him to my house, to my room, to be exact. I
couldn’t wait to be his once more. In silence, we climbed the stairs, and I made him sit on the

bed. I took a few steps back and began to undress for him. I felt a tingling sensation in my
body as I noticed his gaze filled with desire accompanied by a crooked smile. My goodness,
he was so handsome and he was mine, all mine.
He moved his hands to remove his jacket and shirt but never stopped looking at me as one by
one, my garments revealed my nakedness. I reached for my panties, but he stopped me and
called me with that perfect, masculine hand.
Without hesitation, I walked sensually towards him. I saw him open his pants and reveal his
hard c**k.
He kissed me, and his hands went to my breasts, his fingers playing with my n*****s as my
moans were swallowed by his lips. He restlessly traced my curves with his hands and positioned me astride him. Without waiting, I moved, making his manhood enter me.
“s**t!” he gasped as my core, stretched by his member, collided with his pelvis.
I hugged him and began to move my hips in a rocking motion that drove us both crazy. His hands pressed my buttocks to deepen his thrusts. I could feel the heat emanating from our bodies, our hands moving restlessly over each other’s skin, my wetness soaking his member. I had never felt this way before; a small cry escaped my lips as I melted with pleasure over the man I had desired for so long. I fixed my gaze on his excited face after feeling his member contract inside me, as I felt the warmth of his semen filling me.
I bit my lip with the view, and he opened his eyes, launching himself at my mouth and kissing me. He turned us over on the bed and remained on top of me, looking into my eyes. He thrust into me forcefully, and after my shudder, he sucked and lightly bit my breasts. We did it again, and I could only be more than delighted to know that my summer days had come to an end. I celebrated new beginnings and what a beginning.

I finished getting ready after taking a shower. I had had a wonderful night with the man who unexpectedly managed to steal my heart.
We had breakfast, and although we still had many things to talk about, we were living a
beautiful moment that I wanted to enjoy.
“I’ll go to the hotel to change and check some emails that were sent from Los Angeles. It’s something urgent. I’ll handle it there because I don’t think I can concentrate if I’m here with you,” he smiled flirtatiously, and I blushed. My goodness, where did all these emotions come from? “I’ll come for you to go to lunch,” William said after giving me the best kiss.
“Sounds perfect,” I said, loving the idea. I had forgotten how good this felt.

He gave me one last kiss and left the house. After a sigh, I decided to go see Alaia and the little ones. She had told me her father had to leave, and she still hadn’t been able to talk about
the matter. My mother and Paula had spent the morning together.
“We decided to wait for him to come back to talk to everyone,” Alaia said.
“It was unexpected. I can understand your surprise,” I responded as we watched the children
run around with their uncle Aidan.
“It is,” my cousin nodded. “I just hope this time it’s definitive and they handle things like the
adults they are. It would be terrible if either of them gets hurt. Since my mother told me what
happened, I knew neither of them had it easy after they stopped having the relationship they
had,” she sighed, and I could understand her concern..
“Let’s hope they make it this time,” I said, caressing her hand, and Alaia gave me a closed–lip
smile.
When the time came, I returned home to get ready to go out with Will. I had decided to wear a
lovely long, semi–fitted dress with a V–neckline and no sleeves, which made me feel sexy and
comfortable at the same time.
I descended the stairs and found him entering the house. He looked more than handsome in
the royal blue shirt and beige pants he had chosen to wear that day.
“Wow!” he said upon seeing me, stealing a smile from me. Silently, he approached and took
me by the waist to kiss me passionately. What a delight!
In the car, we talked about his work. He would have to return to Los Angeles in a few days.
I was surprised when we stopped in front of my favorite restaurant in the UK.
“How did you know?” I asked as I got out of the car.
“A good friend told me,” he said, closing the car door and taking my hand to lead me inside.
Of course, I was sure that my good friend was Tino.
We were seated at a table that had been reserved and had a beautiful flower arrangement in the center. More than delighted, I took in everything.
I ordered my favorite dish and recommended a few that I knew he might like, and he ordered
one of them.
We sat in silence, looking into each other’s eyes. I caressed his hand on the table, his thumb brushing against mine, and I smiled at him. He observed me silently.

“It was that smile,” he said, and I waited for him to continue.
“On the day of the festival, your smile captivated me. From that moment, my mind and body
began to react to you in ways I never expected. Your charm and personality triggered feelings I
had never experienced,” the way he looked at me made my heart skip a beat.
“I decided to keep my distance because my pride wouldn’t allow me to feel that way about a
man. But even when I stopped seeing you, you remained in my thoughts. I couldn’t be in your
presence without feeling a strong attraction, and I was at my limit. Every day, it became harder
to maintain control.”
He shook his head, and hearing what he felt because of my lies weighed on me.
“I’m sorry for hiding it from you. Everything got out of hand. When I wanted to tell you,
something would happen, and then Jessie talked about a wedding, and you distanced
yourself. That’s when I decided not to say anything.”
“Jessie is getting married,” he nodded, “but not to me. She and her fiancé broke up before she
returned to Los Angeles. Some time ago, he came back, and they reconciled. I’ll be her best
man,” he confirmed, and I shook my head.
“Jessie lied to us,” I said, slightly annoyed.
“She realized what we felt for each other and made up the story about the dress to bring us
together, to make you do something. She still thinks you’re a man and believes I’ve changed
my preferences,” we both laughed. “I’ll let her believe things are as she thinks.”
I shook my head. The little troublemaker had made me go through a tough time, and she had
earned it.
“What made you hide and be Asher?” he asked with interest, observing me intently.
