CHAPTER 153: DARE TO LOVE ME My Birthday Part 2
William
Ash fixed her eyes on mine.
“I fell in love with you when I saw beyond what is visible. You are more than your body than your face“-Ash gasped, but failed to say anything-” although I must admit that you look stunning today,” I finished and noticed that her nose had turned red as well as her cheeks. She
could look like a strong woman and at the same time, she could look so tender that she managed to melt you.
“You… fell in love with me?” she asked, staring at me.
“Like a madman.” I kissed her again and I could feel every inch of her body surrender to me.
Our kiss was intense and her soft lips caressed mine, making my body react. Her sweet tongue played with my mouth and I pressed her against me, as I had done last night when we made love. I wanted to have her as close to me as possible.
We separated our faces when we were out of breath and I watched her as I caressed her cheek with my thumb. Something in the way she looked at me made me feel something in my stomach, something I hadn’t felt before.
“Ash, darling.” Tino came up to us and the smile on his lips was going to break his thin face. “Everyone has arrived. I don’t want to ruin the moment, but we can’t keep them waiting.”
“Yes, we’re coming,” Ash spoke to him and Tino left, but from time to time he looked back at
us with that same smile.
“So it’s your birthday,” I said, thinking that Tino had told me it was his, but Ashley’s name in the middle of a balloon arrangement made me realize it was hers.
“Yes, didn’t you know?” she asked, furrowing her brows while in my arms.
“Tino told me it was his birthday,” I said and her laughter enveloped me.
“I even… brought him a present,” I said, searching my jacket pocket. “If I had known it was yours, you would have a new cap as a gift,” I affirmed and now she burst out laughing.
“We should go back.” Ash took my hand to return to where the others were, although we still
had a lot to talk about.
“Wait,” I stopped her. “I haven’t called off my wedding to Jessie yet,” I joked, reaching for my phone, and she punched me in the arm before we continued on our way.

CHAPTER 153: DARE TO LOVE M….
We went back to the gathering and Ash stood behind the birthday cake. We witnessed the
moment she made a wish and those present sang to her before they came up to congratulate
her.
I hadn’t imagined it would feel like this to see her smile like that.
Then I remembered the mess Jessie had caused and I walked away to call her; she owed me
an explanation.
“Jessie,” I said seriously as soon as I heard her voice.
“Will, darling, how are you?”
“Better now,” I said, looking at Ash who smiled at me. It was inevitable not to respond to that
beautiful smile.
“You never call this early,” she commented.
“I needed to talk to you, about our wedding,” I spoke and heard a small gasp of surprise.
“Oh, you know.” She hummed with a slight laugh that made me close my eyes.
“That’s right, I just found out.”
“Will, honey, I saw you one day, you were looking at Asher’s picture at some kind of concert and you looked lost in that image. I’ll tell you it was a shock for me to see such a masculine man as you, looking at another man like that. I couldn’t believe it, I refused to accept that your had changed your preferences,” she commented and a discomfort spread in my chest. I
wanted to forget those days.
“After that, I remembered that Asher is gay and I thought you two might have a chance.” She let out a giggle and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. “So I decided to move some chips with my wedding dress and asked Asher to do it, making him believe that I was going to marry you, wait for his reaction, and bingo! The annoyance on his face showed that you were also interested in him, but the boy didn’t seem willing to do anything to change his situation, so I let him believe that you were going to marry me, to see if he would finally decide to do something about it. Tell me that you have already resolved everything, although I’m not going to deny that it’s going to impact me a lot to see you with another man, the only thing that can matter to me is your happiness,” she mentioned with great tranquility and I rubbed my face.
“We’ve worked things out and I’ve decided to give it a try with him.” I didn’t clarify anything about Asher being Ashley; everyone here was going to be surprised.
“Wow, how easily you’ve accepted it, I didn’t expect that from you.”
“Neither did I, and please, don’t intervene next time,” I asked.

“I promise,” she replied, sounding sincere.
“I have to go now, I’ll see you soon.” We said goodbye and I hung up the call. I couldn’t help but laugh at everything that had happened; it was crazy.
I walked back and saw Ashley coming towards me. She came closer to kiss me and I was perplexed. I hadn’t expected her to do it in front of everyone, but this was better than I could have hoped for.
“Are you enjoying the evening?” I asked, hugging her by the waist.
“More than I expected.” I kissed her and I could feel the eyes of our family members on us, but at this moment it was just her and me.
“Who’s the man with Tino?” I asked, seeing the man from the bar with Ashley’s friend.
“That’s Tony, Tino’s boyfriend.” Ash bit her lip to keep from laughing and I felt like an i***t.
However, it was her actions that got us here, now, I’d let it slide.
I turned my attention back to the beautiful brunette dancing with her body close to mine.
“I lived a few shitty days thinking you were a boy.” She looked up and I noticed she wanted to
laugh.
“Do it and you’ll be punished tonight.” I bit her lip.
“Maybe I want to be punished,” she spoke in Spanish and my p***s jumped.
“Oh, no, don’t speak Spanish, I’m losing my mind,” I whispered in her ear and I could feel the
skin on her neck crawl.
Ashley
Everything had been unexpected. I almost jumped in my place when William told me that he was not going to marry Jessie and my stomach lurched when he expressed that he had fallen.
in love with me. It was better than I expected, the best birthday present in a long time.
I finished telling Tino and Alaia what happened. We didn’t hesitate to get together; I couldn’t
wait to tell them and they couldn’t wait to find out.
“Love is in the air,” Tino hummed and we laughed. “I couldn’t be happier, darling, my darlings who already had everything, huh? Beauty, fortune, success, and everything else, now they have handsome, charming, and desirable men in their lives, everything is perfect.” He clutched his
chest and wiped away an imaginary tear.
“Darling, you too, you have all that you have told us and more,” Alaia took his hands.

“Besides, you have Tony, a wonderful man who truly loves you,” I told him and the three of us
embraced in a hug full of emotions.

The night ended and it had been the best night in a long time; Alaia and Nick had not stopped showing their love and their smiles were contagious, my darlings and little Aidan had played all night, and Tino and Tony were a lovely couple, and expert dancers, everyone else had enjoyed the night Loli, even the security guys, my mother, my uncle Patrick, my grandfather,
and Paula had been at the same table and it seemed that the latter and my grandfather now
had a cordial relationship.
“Shall we go?” Will took my hand. I fixed his face; he smiled at me in a manly way that made
me tremble all over.
“Let’s go.” I nodded and left a short kiss on his lips.
Alaia, Nick, and the kids including Aidan, Tino, and Tony, came with us.
We looked for the elevator and noticed that they had closed it so the group walked through the
restaurant in search of the other elevators in the place.
We were entertained talking among ourselves when we saw a couple kissing passionately
under a dim light.
We stopped dead in our tracks and were about to change our way so as not to interrupt when I
heard Alaia say:
“Mom?! Dad?!” She and Aidan stared at them, mouths agape, while the little ones had no idea what was going on, but we all fixed our eyes on my uncle Patrick and Paula.
We’d busted them.
