CHAPTER 149: DARE TO LOVE ME It’s Been Enough Part 2
William
arrived at the bar after dinner. Nick had called to invite me, and I decided to come since I had
nothing better to do than go back to the hotel. I was writing a message to let him know I had
arrived when I saw him with Alaia, Tino, and Ashley. It was then that I realized they were
insistent on Ashley and my meeting.
“Come on, we just got here,” Nick approached me and wanted to take me to their table.
“I’ll sit at the bar,” I said, glancing at Ash and noticing the very feminine clothes she was
wearing that day. She looked stunning.
“I’ll join you,” Nick said, coming with me.
We ordered some drinks.
“So, you’ve decided already,” Nick made me look at him.
“Yeah, she had many months to explain,” I said, receiving my drink.
Nick shook his head. “Incredible, Will, that you made that decision even knowing the
conditions her father imposed,” he commented, and I furrowed my brows.
“What conditions?” I questioned.
“You don’t know, then?”
I was about to shake my head when I saw Ashley throw herself at a guy. The way she greeted him made my stomach churn.
“Who is he?” I asked Nick, pointing slightly at the newcomer.
“No idea,” Nick said, taking a sip of his drink.
I stopped talking to my cousin to focus on Ashley, who was with the guy she had greeted so enthusiastically.
I noticed Nick went to get Alaia, leaving me alone.
I couldn’t have been more annoyed when I saw them go to the dance floor. I grimaced at the intimacy between them.
“Another,” I ordered a new drink, slamming the glass down on the bar.
The torture of the dance ended, and she headed to the bar. Without hesitation, I approached
her.

“You don’t waste time,” I said, clenching my jaw.
“Wow, you’ve finally decided to talk to me,” she lifted her face, looking haughty. Her scent intoxicated me.
“Who is he?” I questioned, looking at the guy she had danced with, and she raised an eyebrow.
“None of your business,” she replied.
“We’re still keeping things from each other,” I said angrily.
“You were the one who decided not to listen to me. Now it’s me who doesn’t want to talk to
you,” she said, grabbing a bottle from the bar and returning to the table.
I exhaled forcefully, went back to the bar, and didn’t take my eyes off her for a single second.
“Let’s go,” Nick and Alaia came to me as the bar was about to close. “Are you coming?”
“I’ll stay a bit longer,” I said, looking at my glass.
“Alright,” Nick patted my back, and Alaia gave me two kisses. “We’ll see you tomorrow.”
I nodded, continuing to watch the lively dark–haired girl who had enjoyed the night. At least
she hadn’t kissed any of the men she was with.
People left in groups until only Tino, Ashley, and the guy she had danced with remained.
I saw them leave and paid my bill before following them. I watched from the bar’s window as she talked to Tino and the other man, and each of them got into a car. Ashley got into hers, and I decided to follow her. There was no way she would meet that guy tonight.
I got into my car and sped up, as she had gotten ahead of me. I managed to catch up with her, and as I suspected, all three vehicles were traveling together. I gripped the steering wheel, feeling something unpleasant in my stomach.
I sped up and stopped in front of Ashley’s car, forcing her to stop.
I got out of my car and approached hers.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing, you i***t?!” she shouted, and I leaned over her
window.
“Such a dirty mouth,” I said, reaching for her car keys, turning them off, and pocketing them.
“Are you trying to kill me?!” she asked, watching as I put the keys in my pocket. “Give me back
my keys,” she demanded furiously.
“It’s too late for you to get home alone. I’ll take you,” I said, moving to open her door.
“Just give me my keys. I can get there on my own,” she argued.

CHAPTER 149: DARE TO LOVE M…
“I’m afraid that’s not possible,” I smiled, feeling lucky. “Your tire is flat,” I mentioned, watching her move to get out of the car, revealing her perfect legs.
“It’s your fault too,” she pointed at me, looking even angrier. I locked her car. “I can change it,” she lifted her chin and went to get the spare tire, but she couldn’t open the compartment
where it was stored.
“Give me my keys,” she confronted me, and I felt a tightening in my pants. She was incredibly
sexy.
“Come on, I’ll take you,” I said, walking to my car and taking her hand. She just looked at me furiously as I opened the door for her.
I tilted my head toward the car in silence. She looked at me and crossed her arms. Seeing that she wasn’t moving, I brought my face close to hers, enough for our lips to brush.
“Get in the car, Ashley,” I said authoritatively, and I could see her swallow hard. I felt another
pull in my pants.
We heard a group of men approaching, which distracted her. I made her get into the car and
locked the door.
I went to my seat and drove in silence.
Ashley kept her arms crossed and didn’t say a word until we arrived at the house.
She tried to get out before, but her door was locked. I hurried to open it for her. She stood up and looked at me angrily. If only she knew what that look did to me. Without saying anything, she walked away toward her house.
“A thank you wouldn’t hurt,” I said, leaning against the car and crossing my arms. She turned
to me, barely listening.
“Screw you!” she shouted, pointing at me. I laughed. Insults in her language sounded so good
on her lips.
“I think that’s enough,” I said, putting my hands in my pants pockets. Seeing her enjoy herself with another man had bothered me too much, enough to know I was crazy about her.
“I need to know what’s happening between us,” I said, and she just looked at me. “Move past
the issue of you being Asher.”
“Nothing is happening between us, William,” she said, approaching me, her footsteps echoing on the asphalt. “Now just go back to ignoring me like you’ve done all this time,” she tried to
leave, but I grabbed her arm.
“I’m sorry, Ashley,” she looked at me and slightly opened her mouth. “Enough of all this. I want

you to know that I’m here as your friend or whatever you want,” I spoke sincerely, “and that whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to do it alone,” I looked into her beautiful eyes, her
sensual lips, and swallowed hard.
She looked at me for two seconds before pressing her lips to mine.
