CHAPTER 116: DARE TO LOVE ME You are weak
Ashley
“Do you have it?” Will asked as we drove in his car. We’d just returned from the tech building on the outskirts of the city, a place I loved. It had fresh air, and beautiful gardens, and you could relax a bit before entering the building and starting work.
“Here it is,” I lifted the company’s iPad and showed it to him. I enjoyed the scenery while Will took calls from his office and a few from women. It seemed his list had shortened; when I first met him, he was getting calls from several women, but now it seemed they were dwindling. Could it be because of the return of his beloved Jessie?
The car slowed down and stopped in front of a well–maintained wooden door, which opened, and we entered a house with a stunning Japanese style. There was a fountain in the middle, several bonsais, and other trees. What a marvelous place! I saw several men moving around the entrance, others getting out of their cars, all wearing sports clothes. Wait a moment! What were we doing here?
“What is this place?” I asked as the car stopped and he ended a call.
“A training center,” said Will, getting out and opening the back door where he had a sports bag.
“Remember the invitation I gave you a few weeks ago?” He leaned on the window from
outside.
How could I forget? He’d repeated it a thousand times for a whole week.
“No,” I played dumb, and he snorted in disbelief.
“Come on, get out of the car,” he walked towards the entrance.
But come on! He should have at least told me he was bringing me here so I could have
declined earlier.
Annoyed, I got out of the car.
“You should have warned and asked me before deciding for me,” I stood in front of him,
reaching up to his chest. I must have looked ridiculous.
“Bro, I thought it wouldn’t be a problem. I wanted you to see it, and if you like it, you could come back,” he shrugged. I felt like he’d baited me into having no choice but to accept his insistent invitation. It was enough to see him every day at work, besides the fact that I might embarrass myself without my office clothes.
My eyes suddenly drifted towards some men entering. Where had they come from? One was

more handsome than the other, they were mountains of men. Sometimes they annoyed me, but my eyes were delighting in so much masculinity.
“I don’t have time now,” I looked back at Will, “I have more important things to do at home.” But well, he insisted on being my friend, something I wasn’t interested in.
“I’ll see you later,” I said goodbye, and Will looked up at the sky as he slung his bag over his shoulder.
“Fine,” he simply said, and I started walking towards the car assigned to me by Alaia, driven by one of our bodyguards. I proceeded to open the door, and I heard several voices approaching. I turned my head in that direction and spotted none other than Dolph Lundgren. My hands fell to my sides as I watched him comfortably talking with two other muscular men. They walked just inches from me.
I was a fan of him and Van Damme, and of course, their movies. I’d seen them all and
re–watched them. They didn’t make movies like those anymore, and it was a shame.
I saw Will still at the entrance watching me. I widened my eyes at him and looked back at the
actor.
William laughed.
“Man, you should have started with that. I can postpone my schedule a bit,” I approached Will and walked towards the entrance where the blonde named Dolph had gone.
“He likes to train here and sometimes becomes an instructor,” Will clarified behind me. I
nodded and let him guide me. A class given by him? I wouldn’t miss it.
I walked alongside Will, looking around. The place was enormous, with training sections of all
kinds.
“I didn’t know places like this existed,” I said.
“It’s an exclusive site, only a few can enter, and no girls are allowed,” he commented, and I
nodded. A club of brutes, I confirmed as I saw some fighting MMA style and got distracted by
the number of attractive men around. I even thought I’d seen some of them in movies.
“You must wear sports clothes while you’re here; they have a dress code,” Will explained.
Oh, great.
“I have some extra clothes,” he showed me a pair of shorts and a sports shirt. Okay, I couldn’t wear that, I thought, looking at the clothes.
“Or we have a shop over there,” he pointed to a room with clothes, and I breathed a sigh of
relief.

“I’ll be right back,” I said, turning around.
“I’ll be over there,” he showed the way, and I nodded.
I looked for loose sports pants an oversized dark–colored shirt, perfect for hiding my feminine shapes, and a black cap. I rushed into the locker room with a smile, but it faded as I entered. One of the giant men walked in, and I could see half of his well–formed butt before he entered
the showers.
I froze. What had I gotten myself into?
I stood there, watching the men with their bare torsos and towels around their waists.
“Dude, you can change over there,” one of the men showed me a cubicle, and I nodded.
I thought it was too late to run away.
I put on the clothes and liked the result; I looked like a small guy.
I came out, and William was wearing shorts and a sports shirt. The veins in his arms were
bulging, and I couldn’t help but notice them.
“Are you comfortable with that?” he pointed to my clothes.
I nodded confidently and proceeded to leave before him, looking for my dear Dolph. William guessed my thoughts and walked beside me, guiding me to a room where Dolph was, and I
saw everyone taking their positions to start the martial arts class.
“You can join,” Will suggested as my eyes lit
- up.
“Oh no, he’d kick my ass,” I said confidently, and William burst into a loud laugh that made me laugh too.
I watched the training, feeling like a little kid. Occasionally, I made a few moves myself and saw William laughing and shaking his head.
The training ended, and William introduced us before Dolph left. Oh, I loved him, he was a
charm.
I walked back to the locker rooms, ready to go home. Enough excitement for one day.
“Asher,” Will called as we passed by the gym, “you can start with these,” he handed me two very heavy weights.
“Start what?” I asked, wrinkling my nose.
“Training,” he said, taking off his shirt and showing his perfect six–pack, leaving me speechless. Another group did the same; there were all colors and flavors, I thought, looking

from one to another.
“We’ll start with the upper body,” I heard him talking, but I could only see the hunk that looked
like Chris Evans.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say,” I spoke distractedly.
“You need to warm up first,” he showed me a machine, which he turned on, and I started walking fast, “or you could hurt yourself,” he said, and I turned to look at him. His face and body were very close to me, pressing the machine’s panel, “We’ll increase the pace in ten minutes,” he looked at me, and I saw his blue eyes that looked like crystal–clear water.
“Understood?”
“Yes,” my mouth was dry.
“Good,” he gave me a firm slap on the butt.
“You brute!” I protested, and William looked confused. I had good flesh there.
“I’ll be over there,” he said, annoyed, and pointed to a group of guys who started training with
him.
I watched them for a while. William got along incredibly well with them; I even heard them burst into laughter occasionally. They were the liveliest group in the place. I hadn’t seen Nick’s
cousin show his teeth so much.
After finishing a one–hour routine, we left the gym. It wasn’t so bad after all, and it was interesting that William was so kind to me during the training. Despite inviting me to shower in a place full of men, I refused. No way I was undressing there. I made up an excuse that I needed to get home soon and that I’d shower there.
“I’ll see you tomorrow,” he pointed to the gym with his head.
“Thanks for the invitation,” I said and smiled. It turned out he might not be so bad after all.
I got into the SUV with the bodyguard, who took the sports bag I had to buy, and we headed home. I was exhausted.
At home, I had dinner with the family and told Alaia a bit about my day. She laughed at everything that happened to me, and I enjoyed seeing her laugh. Her life had been very serious
these days. Tino said he didn’t believe a word I said and that I should have taken a thousand
photos.

The alarm on my phone rang, and I opened my eyes. I moved to grab my phone, but I had no strength.
I saw the time and yawned before stretching to get up and go to the bathroom.
“What the hell?” I said, feeling a strong pain in my body as I moved. I sat on the bed as best as
I could and looked at my legs, which refused to move unless it hurt like hell.
I fell back onto the bed. Wasn’t it supposed to not hurt if you warmed up? Damn it.
“Ash,” Alaia poked her head through the door, and my kids ran in through the small opening.
“Aunty ñitos,” they climbed onto my bed and hugged me.
“Good morning, my darlings,” I kissed them happily, even though it hurt when they climbed
over me.
“We’re waiting for you to have breakfast,” my cousin commented, entering my room.
“Thanks, darling, but I can’t move. Everything hurts, even my hair and nails,” I said stiffly, “the gym idea was terrible, but I met Dolph,” I lamented, and Alaia burst into laughter.
“I’ll ask Sylvia to bring you breakfast,” she said and sat on my bed. I nodded with a pout.
“I hope you won’t miss me at the office,” I said playfully.
“I will, but you need to recover,” she laughed, “I’ll come to see you later.”
“Will you take the darlings?” I asked, looking at them. “Do you want to stay in bed with your aunty ñitos all day?” I asked them, and they looked at me.
“Are you going to stay and take care of your aunty?” Aly asked tenderly, and they both looked at me while I pouted.
“Yes, Mommy,” they nodded energetically, and Alaia kissed them before leaving, and we
settled in to start a marathon of kids‘ movies.

In the afternoon, after spending a torturous day locked in the room and going to the bathroom
only to shower and do the necessary, I received a call.
“Asher,” it was the jerk.
“William,” I replied, looking for a new movie.
“I’m waiting for you at the gym,” he said, and I checked the time on my phone. Screw him!
“Are you crazy? I hurt in places I didn’t even know I had,” I heard his laugh on the call.

“That happens in the first days,” he commented, “if you come today, the pain might even lessen.”
“I couldn’t go even if I wanted to. I can’t move,” I huffed, and he laughed again while I squinted
my eyes.
“You’re weak, man,” he said amid laughter.
“You’re a jerk,” I retorted, and we both laughed. I proceeded to end the call, biting my lip with a smile, but I stopped laughing instantly when I realized I was having fun with the jerk.
