As long as Mia curated her image of a beautiful and kind–hearted junior, she could easily make Luna seem completely worthless by comparison.
The more Luna tried to redeem herself, the harder she would work for the team.
At the right moment, Mia could pull a few small tricks, and she could take credit for all of Luna’s efforts. Luna would always be the one the team cast aside.
However, things weren’t going as Mia had planned at all.
Not only did Luna insist on leaving the team, she even chose an obscure new major, clearly drawing a line between herself and her former teammates.
That wouldn’t do! Mia would never allow Luna to graduate smoothly in another major!
Mia understood the darker sides of human nature all too well. Without Luna around, how could Mia’s purity and excellence stand out?
And without that, the senior team members had no reason to shower her with so much affection and praise.
Determined to regain control of the situation, Mia turned and went to find Russell to ask how things were on his end.
Meanwhile, Luna had lost her appetite for dinner after being thoroughly disgusted by Russell
and Ethan.
She bought some bread and returned straight to her dorm.
As soon as she entered her room, she opened her wardrobe and pulled out her diary.
Aside from the diary, there was also a box of meaningless trinkets–useless and cheap little gifts she had received over the years from the senior team members.
She didn’t even look at the gifts. Instead, she opened the diary, sat down in front of the trash can, and prepared to tear it to shreds.
She couldn’t allow this diary to become a weapon used against her again.
In her past life, it was this very notebook that Ethan used to fabricate disgusting rumors about her.
Just as Luna was about to rip the pages apart, Nicole returned with the other two girls.
“What are you doing?” Nicole stopped in her tracks, stunned by the scene. “That’s your most treasured diary. You used to guard it like it was a treasure chest. Why are you suddenly tearing

it up?”
Luna suddenly held the notebook out toward them. “I want you all to see what I wrote back then.“.
“Huh?” The three girls froze, clearly confused.
Luna didn’t know whether Ethan would try to smear her again in this lifetime. However, she needed to set up some witnesses just in case.
“This might be my personal diary,” she explained calmly, “but there’s nothing in it that I’m ashamed of. It’s just a record of my thoughts and experiences since I started university.
“Now that I’m switching majors, I want to make a clean break with my past. It’s a new beginning. So, I need to leave all of this behind.”
She paused, looking at the three of them earnestly. “I hope you can serve as my witnesses.”
“Alright,” said a tall, striking girl who immediately took the diary from her hands. “I’ll read it first.”
That was Jade Quinn, the belle of the medical school.
Not only did she have excellent grades, but her radiant looks had made her the dream girl of countless guys at the university.
Unfortunately for them, Jade already had someone in her heart–Wyatt.
In her past life, Luna had only found out about this when Wyatt was already engaged to Mia.
That day at their engagement party, Jade had gotten drunk. Mia had asked Luna to help take Jade home.
As they were helping her through the door, she suddenly cried out Wyatt’s name.
