CHAPTER 049
I stood up from the seat under the window to walk over to Noah. I knew that he had been
worried about what I was going to do about Lucas. But he also understands what it’s like to
have a mate. As much as I am pissed at him right now, I can’t just ignore the pull that I feel
towards him.
I have been trying to keep my distance. Even when he has been hanging around, he signed up
to be a warrior and just knowing that he’s in the pack.
He’s really been trying to make it up to me. Anyone can see that. It doesn’t mean that I am
ready to forgive him just yet, but I have decided that I’m not going to make that decision until I
am completely sure.
“I know that you never planned on sharing your mate with anyone.”
“Honestly, I’ve been expecting it. And trying to prepare myself for it.” Noah said, cutting me off.
“Noah. You know that if I do accept him as my mate then nothing is going to change between
- us. But you need to accept him as well. I can’t have mates trying to protect me while they’re
fighting each other.” I explained.
“I know. Don’t worry. I’ll figure something out. Come and eat.” He said, holding his hand out for
me to grab.
So he held my hand as we went down to the dining room and this time it was just me and him having dinner.
“Where’s everyone else?” I asked.
“I thought you could use a quiet night. Not with Anna and Maisie here talking about royal
duties and training.” He said.
The long table only had two place settings on it with candles lit.
Our food had already been brought out so we walked over to the table where Noah pulled my
chair out for me like a real gentleman.
“What’s all this for?” I asked.
“What? It’s just a romantic dinner.” He said, looking completely innocent.
“Well, it’s beautiful. Thank you.” I said.
We talked all the way through dinner, getting to know each other even more than we already
did.

CHAPTER 049
Noah went into more depth about why he doesn’t really talk to his family. After hearing what he had to say about them, I didn’t really blame him.
He wasn’t the oldest or the youngest. He was somewhere in the middle and completely forgotten about which meant he had been really independent from a young age.
I could sort of relate to that. Just because I was an only child doesn’t mean I had it easy. I mean, I am the princess which meant I was always being trained or taught different lessons about werewolves and the royal family. It was pretty full on from when I was young.
He did mention that if he called his family to tell them where he was, they would definitely be here in a heartbeat.
“Is that because you’re mated to the princess or because they want to help in the impending fight?” I asked.
“I honestly don’t know what their intentions would be. But the whole lot of them would come. All of my brothers and sisters. They would bring their mates and their children. This castle would turn into a damn circus.” Noah said.
“Is that why you haven’t told them where you are?”
“Well, sort of. I just don’t have any interest in seeing them. And they haven’t reached out to me once since I left. So I don’t see why I should.”
“I agree. If they couldn’t be bothered then why should you? In my opinion they are just going to keep letting you down if you expect too much after they haven’t given you anything in return,
ever.” I said.
“I’m glad you understand. I didn’t want you to think that I was deliberately keeping you from them.” He said.
“Noah. I trust you. You were the head of my security before my mate. I know that you wouldn’t do anything to put me in danger.”
So he leaned over to kiss me when he realized that I understood that he wasn’t doing anything to hurt me.
As soon as dinner was over we were about to head back upstairs when I got a phone call so I answered it on the stairs.
“Alpha Wesley. Thank you so much for getting back to me.” I said.
“Well, you didn’t really give me much of a choice according the message you left.”
“Yeah. Sorry about that. I just had to make sure that you called me back.”

“Why is the Princess of Dragons calling me?”
“Because I’m the Princess of werewolves before the princess of Dragons.”
“Is that all you needed to say?”
“No. I know that you’re being blackmailed by Xavier and I think we can actually help each other out here.”
“You don’t know what he has on me. I can’t help you.”
“You see, that’s where you’re wrong. You tell me what he has on you, you help me defeat him and then I give you a pardon for all of your past crimes. But believe me, if you continue with those same crimes then you will be arrested.” I explained.
“Listen, right now isn’t a good time for me to talk.” He said.
“You’re not alone?”
“No.”
“Alright. I’ll call back tomorrow. Make sure you’re alone.” I said, hanging up.
“How’s it going? Getting to these Alpha’s that Xavier is trying to use against you?”
“I don’t know yet. But I’m starting to see a plan coming into place.” I smirked at him.
He leaned forward and kissed me.
“You’re pretty incredible. You know that.” He said.
“I know.” I said and he started chuckling.
So he grabbed my hand again and we ran up the rest of the stairs until we got to my room.
As soon as we got inside Noah closed the door and he pushed me up against it and started
kissing me.
He quickly removed my shirt and hooked his fingers around the hem of my shorts and underwear, pulling them down in one movement so I could kick them off.
I grabbed Noah’s shirt to pull it over his head. As he was still kissing me, he undid his jeans
and let them fall to the ground.
I wrapped my arms around his neck while he leaned down to grab a hold of my thighs so he
could lift me off the ground.
He walked backwards for a few steps before he found the other wall next to my bathroom and he pressed me right against the wall.

I guess we weren’t going to make it to the bed tonight.
I felt Noah’s erection between my legs as he lined it up at my entrance.
He started thrusting inside of me, not as slow as last time but definitely faster than last time.
I dug my fingernails into his back as he started moving faster and faster inside of me, making me move up and down on the wall.
“Oh f**k Noah.” I moaned.
“You are so f*****g perfect.” He said, staring into my eyes before kissing me.
He managed to hold me up with one arm while he used his other hand to cup the side of my face so he could bring it towards his face and our lips met.

“Oh f**k. I’m getting close…” I moaned, leaning my head back on the wall.
