Chapter 32: A Night Out.

This woman is so sweet and perfect. God, I love her. “It’s not your fault, but I would appreciate the help. That way I don’t need to leave so late, and we can still enjoy our evening. We have that art exhibition tonight at 8pm.” I say.
“I completely forgot about that.” she says and I chuckled. “We don’t have to go if you don’t want to.” I say. “No, I want to go. You get started, I will run to get the food.” She says and gets up, but I pull her back down and onto my lap. “Toby can get the food, I want to make out with my girlfriend first.” I say and she giggles.
I kiss her and I can’t help but deepen the kiss. One taste of her is never enough. When we break apart, I get up with still still on my lap and put her down on my desk. I sit down on my chair and open her legs and settle myself in between them. “Soon, I will have my way with your right here. But not today, we have work to do.” I say tapping on the desk.
I can’t help but lean forward and bite her n****e through her blouse and she giggles. I pick up the phone and asks Toby to get lunch for the three of us as well as bring the files from Giselle’s office. A few minutes later, Toby knocks on the door and comes in.
Liz tries to get off the desk, but I just smirk at her. I hold her down and put my arms around her. “Thank you, Toby, you can put them on the table. Liz will help me sort through them.” I say. and Toby nods. He puts a box with the files down and smiles before he leaves.
“It is very unprofessional for me to be sitting on your desk like this, Mr. Caine.” Liz says with one eyebrow raised. “I agree, next time someone comes, hide under my desk. Maybe you can give me a surprise, wait for them to leave.” I say and she chuckles. That would actually be so hot. Now I can’t help but picture it.

“Maybe, but you have no proof though.” I say. “On the contrary, Mr. Caine. I think the evidence. speaks for itself.” She says pointing to the bulge in my pants and I chuckle. “I rest my case. She says and we both chuckle. “So, what do you suggest we do with the evidence, councilor?”
I ask and she taps her chin with her index finger, and scrunches her nose, like she does when
she is thinking about something.
“I suggest you try to think about dead unicorns and naked zombies, Mr. Caine. You brought it on yourself with your overactive imagination. I will make it up to you later.” She says opening. the box and starts to take out files. “You are just adding to your list of indiscretions, my Liz.” I say and she looks at me.
“Are you keeping a list?” she asks and I nod and smirk. “Yes, top on the list is slapping my ass in the shower. Next is not allowing me to pleasure you. And now, you don’t want to help me with my problem, that is partially your fault for being so irresistible. Lastly you expect me to think about dead unicorns so my hard on will go away. I am sure the list will be much longer by the time we get home.” I say and she giggles.
“How very thorough of you to keep a list. You sound like Santa, are you going to check the list twice. I know I am on the naughty list, but get your head in the game Mr. Caine. Or else we won’t get to that art exhibition.” She says and I chuckle. “I will just go ahead and add sassy comments to the list.” I say and she shakes her head.

I and kiss her neck, before I start going through the files. As much as I enjoy our banter, I have a job to do. Giselle has quite a few open cases and it looks like I will have to handle them myself for now. I can’t have the clients feeling like they aren’t appreciated. I know some of them will not be happy she is gone.
If I am lucky, I will have all this done by next week, so that Liz and I can go on the trip! planned for Valentines Day. I just need to sit down with whoever I am handing over to. And then I will meet with the clients. Giselle knows that I will enforce the non–solicitation agreement she signed. I won’t allow anyone to disrupt my business or clients.
By 17:30pm, we were done sorting through all the files and Toby and I called the clients to set up appointments. Luckily, when they heard they were meeting with me, they were on board. Liz really was a great help, she will fit in here perfectly. Though I don’t know what her plans are yet. She still needs to decide and give me a definite answer.
When we left the office, I drove us home. She was not happy with me because she wanted to drive. “Allow me to enjoy Zee too. You can’t keep him all to yourself.” I say. “Fine, but just this once. I am a very jealous woman and I don’t like to share,” she says. “I am glad we have another thing in common.” I say.

“Are you also a jealous woman who doesn’t like to share too?” she asks me and I laugh so hard, my tummy hurts. “I am sure the ache between your legs is a reminder that I am in fact, not a woman.” I say and she chuckles. “I may need a reminder of that fact. I recently came down with a case of selective amnesia.” She says and I chuckle.
“Oh, don’t worry, your reminder is coming. I just added, calling me a woman to the list. That is a major offense so it occupies at least two spots on the list. We are now down to seven infractions.” I say. “Oh no, maybe we should round it off. I don’t like odd numbers.” She says and I chuckle. “Okay, I will add selective amnesia to the list.” I say and we both chuckle. She can always make me laugh, and I love it.
We got home in no time, and still had enough time to get ready. We showered together and I behaved myself, but only because I didn’t want to be too late. I convinced Liz to wear the black and white dress I like, and she did. She looks absolutely stunning in that dress, or anything. she wears. She has a beautiful body, and I love how she carries herself.
I helped her put on the jewelry I bought her, to finish the look. And she fixed my suit and tie. We really do act like an old married couple. I hope she sees this too, everything just feels right with her. When we are both ready, we head out. Before we reach the door, I hear Rosa speaking.

“You two really are the perfect couple.” Rosa says when she sees us. “Thank you, Rosa,” Liz says smiling. “Are you staying over?” I ask and she nods. “Yes, my neighbor is back, so I am free of that little menace.” She says and I chuckle. “Okay, see you in the morning, Rosa.” I say
and kiss her cheek.
I offer Liz my arm and we head out. We are using the driver because I normally drink a glass. of wine at these events, so I can’t risk driving. “What should I expect?” Liz asks me while. fiddling with her dress. “Why are you so nervous?” I ask her and she looks up at me. “I haven’t been to many events like this.” She says and I smile.
“When we get there and you feel uncomfortable in anyway, we will leave immediately. I will never make you stay where you don’t want to be.” I say and she smiles. “Thank you, Zander.” she says smiling. I lean over and kiss her lips softly and smile. “There will be press though, they always cover these types of events.” I say and she nods.

When we arrive at the gallery, the exhibition is already in full swing. This is normally a public event, but I always attend just to see the pieces on display. There is also an auction afterwards, that I love to attend. Most of the time they auction off the pieces on display.
The minute we step out of the vehicle, the press loses it. They recognized Liz immediately.

and it’s even more exciting for them, seeing us together. I always attend these events alone, and now I have the newest billionaire on my arm. Liz looks a bit shell shocked, so I keep a protective arm around her.
I moved her away from them as quickly as I could. “Are you okay?” I ask her when we are safely inside. “I am fine. That was mental. How do they expect you to answer any questions, when they are all shouting at you all at once?” she asks and I chuckle.
“Your story is trending news now, and everyone wants to interview you. And they are excited to meet the newest, most beautiful billionaire in town. Now who is hot property?” I ask and she giggles. “You are so silly. Let’s go check out these pieces you were going on about.” She says and nod and lead her inside. The very next face I see, just pisses me off. f*****g Keira.
I lead Liz the other way as quick as I can, but then her mother stops me. “Zander, it’s so good to see you.” she says. “It’s good to see you too Martha. This is my girlfriend, Elizabeth. Liz, this is Martha Silverman. A very valued client of mine.” I say in introduction. “It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Liz says extending her hand.
Martha looks at her hand, and then looks her over, before she shakes Liz’s hand. “Charmed,” Martha says and quickly let’s go of her hand. What is her problem? She is never like this.
