This cannot be happening. I need more information, and I can tell this woman is ready to share. She clearly dope
like Liz, and maybe she is a little jealous. Why anyone would be jealous of Liz is beyond me. “Wow, that is a lot of money. It’s not fair for her to get it if she already has a rich man. She doesn’t need the money,” I say, and she nods.
“Right? Everyone treats her like royalty. It’s f*****g bullshit. I listened in when she came in with
the winning ticket. She is a goody two shoes, and that pissed me off. So, I put her in her place.
Then the b***h had the nerve to belittle me and get me in trouble with my boss. I hope she
loses all that money, f*****g cow.” She says and I chuckle.
“I will keep my fingers crossed for you, she will get what’s coming her way. I saw the b***h
that went in. Red hair, blue eyes, and average looking, with a hot guy in a suite?” I ask. “Yeah,
Elizabeth something,” she says. “Elizabeth Stanford,” I say and she nods. “How did you know?”

believe a word she says. Knowing her, she probably stole that ticket. Good luck girly–girl, I have
to get to work. Give her hell.” I say, and she chuckles and winks. “Oh, I will, when my boss isn’t
looking.” She says rolling her eyes and I chuckle.
I walk back to my car on shaky legs and once I get in the car, I freak out. What the actual f**k?
That b***h won the lottery, worth 10.9 billion. f**k! That is not f*****g fair! I am about to call
Kyle, but I froze with my phone in my hand. That draw happened the same day Kyle served her
with divorce papers. I saw it on the news.
That means they were still married, and he is entitled to half, but I will make sure he gets
more. Oh, this is so good. I guess I will be keeping Kyle around after all. That money is as good as mine. In your face, Liz. You can keep that measly inheritance, I will take all your lottery winnings and Zander.
I dial Kyle’s number, and he answers after four rings. “What the f**k Kyle, were you sleeping?” I ask, and he grumbles something I can’t make out. “Where are you? I need to speak to you.” I
said. “I am at the hotel bar. What the f**k do you want? I am not in the mood for your nagging,
” he said.
“Go up to our room. I have just found out something that will change our lives for the better. We need to come up with a solid plan. We will walk away with 10.9 billion if we play this right.

Sober up, I will be there in a few minutes.” I say. “What are you on about?” he asks me and I roll my eyes.
“Liz won the Christmas lottery you asshole. She won 10.9 billion and that draw took place the day you served her with the divorce papers. That money is yours, baby. You were still married when she won. She probably bought the winning ticket with your money too.” I said, and I heard him gasp, and I also heard a thud and a glass break.
“Kyle!” I yelled. “I will meet you in the room. Hurry!” he yells and hangs up. f***** ***t. I
guess I will have to sharpen my acting skills. I am so close to getting what I want. I won’t let anyone stand in my way, especially not my f*****g cousin. She is no match for me.
I start the car and quickly drive to the hotel we are staying at. He still hasn’t bought a house. for us, but I honestly don’t care. I can stay wherever, and the hotel is perfect. I don’t have to do
anything, they do it all for you. I am not housewife material. As I said, my hands were not
meant for such domestic s**t.
When I reach the hotel, I park the car and check the bar first. I don’t trust that i***t to listen to
orders. I was pleasantly surprised to see he wasn’t there. I went up to the room and found the
****t pacing the room with a bottle of beer in his hand. Urgh, let’s get this show started. “Hey
baby,” I said sweetly.

I am so screwed, I don’t know what I am going to do. Somehow, Mr. Mansly found out about the money I had been stealing from clients‘ accounts. I don’t know how he found out. I was so
careful.
Now I have no job and he pressed charges. I was taken out of the building in handcuffs. It was so embarrassing. Luckily for me, Janet, the chick at work I am banging, bailed me out. There was no way I would call Tiffany, she would just be annoying.
I still haven’t told her about the criminal charges, but I guess I will have to. I have been sitting in this bar since I was set free on bail. I don’t know how I am going to pay the money back. Liz took most of what I had and the people I am working for won’t be happy when they don’t get
their share.
f**k! I need to find a way out of this mess. If I run, the cartel will just find me. I need to find a way to make money quickly, or I am a dead man. Horis doesn’t play, and I would very much like to stay alive. I take a sip of my beer just as my phone rings. I look at the caller ID and see it’s Tiffany. I am not in the mood for her at all.
At the fourth ring, I take the phone and answer. Just like I thought, more nagging and

gibberish. But I took note when she mentioned Liz winning the lottery. That f*****g sneaky
b***h. She already had money, but yet she took mine. If Tiffany is correct, any judge will rule in my favor and give me that money.
She lied and purposefully kept her winnings from me. Now, because the divorce is final, she went to cash in her ticket. 10.9 billion will get me out of the s**t I am in and then some. I can disappear, and I won’t need to face any criminal charges. f**k, this is perfect.

I my tab and head up to my room. I called Steve to get some legal advice, but he fucker
declined my call. He must still be pissed that he got fired. I called Paul Adams, the other attorney, he may take my call. He actually does answer and after some apologizing, he agreed
to listen.
I explained what I just found out about Liz withholding money in the settlement. “What
happened after I left?” he asked me. “I ended up signing their agreement because she ran to
my boss.” I said. “So, you are now legally divorced?” he asked me. “Yes, the court done the
p****** and everything.” I say.
“Well, then, you Mr. Stanford, are screwed. You probably won’t get a penny of that money, no
matter how hard you fight. Even if you get a judge to add the case to his roll, I am sure Mr.
Caine will win. The agreement you signed stipulates that neither you nor your ex–wife can lay
any claim to each other’s assets after the divorce is finalized. Didn’t you read it?
I am sure this is the reason they added that clause. Mr. Caine is even more brilliant than I
thought. You will also have to prove that she used your money to purchase the ticket. I can’t
help you and I don’t think you will find an attorney that will. You don’t deserve a cent of that
woman’s money after what you, and your crazy mistress, tried to do to her.

My advice to you, is to move on. You have hurt that woman enough. If you weren’t such a d**k, I am sure she would’ve gladly given you some of that money. Goodbye, Mr. Stanford, don’t call me again. Good luck,” he says and laughs before he ends the call. That mother fucker.
He is right though, I should never have left Liz. I should still have kept her as my wife. Tiffany
doesn’t even make the bed, and I have to wash my own laundry and hers. I hate to admit it, but
I even miss, her cooking. Takeout gets boring really quickly. I never realized how much she actually did for me.
If I hadn’t listened to Tiffany, I could’ve been spending that money with her and still have her
look after me. Even if what Tiffany said is true about Liz, she has never shown that
manipulative side of herself to me. I would’ve overlooked it anyway, as long as she looked
after me.

“How do you know Liz won?” I asked. “I saw Zander take her into the lottery office. I asked one of the ladies there and she told me. It also looks like she is f*****g Zander.” She says. “Who is Zander?” I ask. “Her attorney Kyle, Zander Caine.” She says, annoyed.
“What were you doing there?” I asked her. “I was following him around. They left his house together this morning. That is why we couldn’t find her, she has been living with him all this time.” she says and that pisses me off. How dare Liz live with another man while we were still
married?
“Why y were you following him?” I asked. “I told you, he is loaded. I also had a suspicion he would lead us to Liz.” She says, but somehow, I don’t believe her. She has that look she gets. when she is planning something. “We need to get a good lawyer. That money is as good as yours,” she says.
I tell her what Paul says, and she screams in frustration. “We can still get that money, we just need to try a different approach,” she says, smirking. What have I gotten myself into?
