Sabrina’s eyes widened in feigned surprise the moment she spotted me. “Isn’t that Isabella Prescott?”
Her fans turned to me, their gazes lingering on my simple attire.

Her fans‘ faces twisted with displeasure, but none dared to speak.
“Sorry, Sabrina and Gabriel,” I heard them mumble behind me
As I walked away, security stopped them at the entrance. Gabriel ran after me as I approached the elevator, with Sabrina trailing closely behind.
“Isabella, wait!” Gabriel caught up, grabbing my arm to stop me.
I paused, raising an eyebrow as I licked my ice cream with studied indifference. “Yes?”
“Sabrina and I are here to meet with a sponsor, Gabriel began, his tone measured but defensive. “We’re trying to secure funding for her beauty product advertisements. I’ve already explained that I’ve been financially supporting her brand.”
So, this was the excuse Gabriel chose to offer me?
Sabrina cut in smoothly, her voice laced with false sweetness. “Gabriel, you don’t owe Isabella explanations. We’re here for work; I’m sure she understands, right, Isabella?”
I returned her smile, though mine carried none of the warmth. “Of course, Sabrina. Gabriel’s been very thorough in explaining your connection to me. Including the part where you fucked each other. I trust it won’t happen again now that you’ve both scratched that… itch.”
The color drained from Gabriel’s face. He quickly pulled his hand away from Sabrina, the memory of our breakup flashin between us.
Sabrina’s face flushed with embarrassment as her eyes darted around, searching for anyone who might have overheard us.
“Baby, a–are you angry?” Gabriel asked, his voice tinged with nervousness.
“Why would I be?” I kept my tone light. “Didn’t I say everything is fine?”
Gabriel trembled slightly. “But why?”

Gabriel grabbed my arm again. “When about you? What are you doing heres
“My blood sugar dropped, and I’ve had the father past few days Cause informed your right?” I replied. “I’m here because asked for my home to be sanitized. I have work to catch up on, so I’ll way here”
“Could I visit you later?” The hope in his voice was almost pathetic.
“No, Gabriel. We’re busy,” I said, pointing to Sabrina to remind him of the reason he came here. Furthermore, my husband would certainly punish me if I allowed another man into our suite.
I stepped into the elevator, eager to escape any further interruptions.
Once inside, I quickly put him out of my mind, especially when I entered the suite. There was Grayson, still working from the bed, clearly frustrated with whoever he was speaking to on the phone, dressed only in a white robe.
When he looked up at me, his expression softened. He patted the space beside him on the bed, signaling me to join him.
“Problem?” I asked casually.
“There’s an issue with the construction in Alberta, but don’t worry about it… Just stay here so I don’t lose my temper with them.”
I fed Grayson some banana splits from time to time. Before diving into work, I checked what was trending on social media. It is unbelievable how quickly Sabrina’s fans reacted to the earlier incident. They’d posted a picture of me in a simple tank top and sweatpants, casually eating an ice cream cone.
“This is Isabella Prescott’s real look on an ordinary day. I look better than her.”
Sabrina’s fans were laughing at me, and I couldn’t help but grimace. I didn’t have a picture like that out in public. People typically saw me as glamorous, always wearing makeup, even for the most casual moments or my simple role in the series. But despite that, likes, hearts, and positive reactions flooded in, along with people reposting my photo.
“Wow! Is that really Isabella? She looks like she’s nineteen!”
“She’s not even wearing makeup! Look at that smooth skin.” That comment got 107 likes.
“Finally! Proof celebrities are human, too. She looks amazing casual. If I wore that, I’d probably be mistaken for someone who got lost.”

The original post unexpectedly gained acceptance from the public, so Sabrina’s fan deleted it. But by then, all the netizens who had seen it had already saved and reposted my photos. It’s astonishing how quickly people on social media can spread something with just a few clicks.
I couldn’t help but smile, imagining Sabrina’s reaction.

“What’s that smile about?” Grayson asked. “Ice cream, please…”
I offered him the last bite, giggling. “Someone proposed to me online.”
His face darkened instantly, and he kissed me, punishing me with his lips.

“Mrs. Blake,” he growled against my mouth, “have you forgotten you’re married? Why are you laughing about proposals?”
He kissed me breathlessly until I gasped, “I’m sorry, Mr. Blake!”
Then, he kissed my forehead, soothing me. This man has so many sides to him, and it’s like he has twenty different emotions! Geez!
As I felt giddy, my phone lit up again with an email invitation to the Obsidian Reel Awards.
But I didn’t expect the invitation to come with a problem.
In one room, Charlotte discovered Isabella’s gown designer team. Isabella had ordered a red gown, the same color as the motif for the awards night.
But Charlotte wasn’t just sabotaging the gown; she ensured Isabella wouldn’t even be able to enter the event. The organizers were strict about time, and late arrivals weren’t allowed in.
Charlotte handed the gift card to the staff who had sent the invitation.
“You did well,” she said before standing up and leaving as though she had never been there.
