Time went fast the next month. Samantha came back to work. Ellora was pissed that Avery left in the middle of the night without a word, but when we told her about the “love” she found, she scoffed and called Avery an i***t. Then she shrugged and went on with her life.
We didn’t hear any news about Elliot, so I guess the text to his family worked. The U.S. loved Ellora. She got the part of a Jazz singer. We made sure to post videos of her singing, and she was gaining fans left and right.
Thalia’s and Davis‘ duet single came out and hit number one in two weeks. He was ecstatic. He gushed about how cool Thalia was and how he couldn’t believe they loved him here in the States. Natalia went to an audition for the Phantom of the Opera and when she was told she would be the understudy to the lead, she couldn’t believe it. She had burst into tears and she and Luca celebrated by buying Samantha, me, and Kimber mini bundt cakes in different flavors. We all ate them in my office as she told us about her audition and how nervous she had been. She said when she got done singing, the director and the lead male gave her a

We had our three–month check–up. We definitely had fraternal twins, but still didn’t know the

Valentine’s Day and our wedding was in two days. I was pissed. I snarled at them as they stood in front of me in my office. They came and dropped my
overnight bag off, they were about to kidnap Samantha for lunch.
“She is still on the clock, she can’t leave yet.”
“Too bad, we are taking her,” Narissa said.
“No you are not, I growled.
“I can call Lyla, she’s looking forward to tonight.”
I glared at her. “I am not scared of Lyla,” I said.
She whipped out her phone.
“OKAY! Fine!” I said, stopping her quickly. “Can I at least say goodbye? Please. I haven’t slept without her since we got together.”
“You are so p***y whipped,” Narissa said.
“So,” I said, defensively. I wouldn’t deny it.
Natalie went to the office door and called Samantha in. She had been finishing up whatever
she had to before she left.
I grabbed her when she got close to me and made her straddle my lap. I glared at Nat and
Narissa until they left my office.
“I don’t want to be without you, we’ve never slept apart,” I whined, burying my face in her neck.

“I know me too. But they are insisting. They even took my phone, they said I can’t even talk to
you.“.

“Promise me, you won’t get into any trouble tonight. I don’t need some guy trying to take
advantage of you.”

Maybe I’ll insist on some prospects accompanying you.”.
“You could try,” she said, with a smile.

“They’d never let me. We really need females in the club so we can have female prospects.”

“I love you so much. Be careful with my babies. You and Narissa need to be very careful. Don’t take any drinks from any strangers. Even non–alcoholic drinks can be drugged.”

My office door burst open, Natalie and Narissa walking in.

I kissed her long and thoroughly one more time before they stole her away from me.
I sighed, she’d only been gone for fifteen minutes and I already wanted to go after her and kidnap her. There was no way I was going to get any more work done. It was only one thirty.
I shut everything down and picked up my night bag and my gym bag.
“Sandra, I am done for the day. You can go home whenever you want,” I said. I am thoroughly
depressed right now.
She laughed and I looked at her.
“Dashawn, it’s just tonight and one whole day. You will see her on Sunday, and then you will
have the next two weeks off. Where are you taking her?”
“To the Valentine, it’s south of Cancun. It’s all–inclusive.”
“I love Mexico. I went there for my anniversary five years ago. Well, cheer up. You’ll be with
your friends soon, right?”
“Yeah, my buddies and I are getting together.”
“Have fun.”
I nodded at her. I know I told Narissa and Nat no strippers, but I knew there would be strippers at the compound tonight. Joker and Ice were throwing my bachelor party. There would be strippers. That’s why Narissa told me I had no say, because she knew there would be too.
I hit the company gym for two hours. I showered and changed into dark jeans and a black t–shirt. I had my cut over my arm and my bags on the other. When I walked out the building, I took a deep breath. I put on my cut and got into the back of my car.

Forty minutes later we were pulling up to the clubhouse. I walked in and all the guys cheered and greeted me. All the ranked members were there, plus about three hundred of the non–ranked members. My dad, my uncles and both my papas were also there, all holding up a beer. I smiled, held up my bags, and they all nodded.
When I came back to the common area, I saw Ashton and Al had joined the party.
There was a lot of food and beer.
“Your mother, Georgia, grandmother’s, and aunts are all at my house. I’m not allowed to come
home tonight, apparently. You’re getting married and Al and I get kicked out. Doesn’t seem
fair. I haven’t slept away from your mother for a long time. You’re lucky I love you. I was told
to make sure you didn’t get yourself in trouble.”
“What do you mean?”
“Strippers,” he said.
“She thinks I’d cheat with a stripper?”
“No, she thinks a stripper will try to make you cheat. They drug people too, you know.”
I nodded. “Aunt Cassie is going to let Uncle Ripper be around strippers? Does he not
remember the last time he encountered one?”
My dad chuckled. We all heard about Aunt Cassie’s retaliation against Uncle Ripper when she
caught him with a stripper in Daytona.
“He won’t let one get close to him. What about you? You’re the one getting married.”
“Doesn’t mean a stripper needs to touch me. We’re gambling too, right? I’ll have fun playing
poker, while the rest of you all enjoy the strippers.”
“Not me, I like my balls where they are.”
I chuckled as I cracked open a beer. The strippers showed up some hours later. The club
brothers cheered and I smiled. Let them have fun. I played poker with my dad, Joker, Uncles Beast, Ripper and Dozer. I saw Papa Butcher, Papa Roberto, Al, and Grandpa Derek with Uncle Bull playing a couple of tables over. A stripper walked up to my Uncle Bull, and he put a hand
out and told her to back the f*ck up. I chuckled. He used to be wild. He and my aunt Tami had an open relationship. They liked sharing and watching one another with other people when they were younger. I didn’t know how he could do that. I could never allow another man

I nudged her off of me.
“I am, but I’m not interested. Stick to the single guys. No one with a woman wants to be touched. They’re the ones playing poker,” I said to her. She nodded.
Literally all the ones that were taken were playing poker. Even Demon was playing poker. The rest of the bikers were being entertained by naked t*ts and p*ssy, and I noticed none of the rest of us were paying attention to the women. I looked for Ice and saw him in a corner. He didn’t have a stripper with him. He kept himself far from them, but he wasn’t playing poker either. He looked like he was just enjoying his beer. He was content with just watching. I really hoped he was working whatever sh*t he had going on in his head, out.
I had just won a hand at poker when my Uncle Dozer’s phone rang.
“Hello?”
I watched as he straightened. His eyes went wide and then, to my astonishment, he threw his head back and roared with laughter. That got the attention of everyone around us. My Uncle Dozer wasn’t one to laugh out loud like that. His eyes snapped at the table next to us. Jessie stood and came over to him. He pulled out his phone and checked it. He cursed and put his
phone to his ear.
My uncle hung up his phone and looked at me. Jessie hung up his phone and looked at me.
“What?”
“We have to go bail the girls out. They all got arrested,” my uncle said.
“What the f*ck?”
“Apparently, they got into a fight tonight. I missed Narissa’s call. She stressed that everyone was okay,” Jessie said.
I jumped up. My uncles, Jessie, Ashton, Joker and Crush all came with me. Ashton, Jessie and I took an SUV while everyone else jumped on their bikes. How in the f*ck did they all get arrested? My girl had better be okay. I looked in the rearview mirror at Jessie. He looked just as worried as I felt. Narissa was four months pregnant. I pressed on the gas pedal. I am coming baby.
