Dashawn
I am f*cking livid. I go to my desk and call down to reception.
“Alice, can you come to my office please? Thank you.”
I looked at my sisters, I knew my gaze was ice–cold.
“When we got here, Alice said something about Samantha changing from earlier. I have an inkling of who did this. I also want Ari to check the surveillance and send me the video from
this morning.”
Kimber was on the phone instantly. I sat in my chair seething. Pieces were starting to click in my head of a puzzle that was forming and shaping with a picture.
“Someone has been sending me cryptic s*xual texts. They’ve also been sending both me and Samantha extravagant presents with inappropriate cards. I think they are trying to drive a wedge between Samantha and I and I think I know who it is.”
“Who?”
“Avery Jones. She changed her appearance to look like Samantha. She was blonde before with shoulder–length hair. Then she shows up looking like Samantha. That can’t be a
coincidence.”
“Avery Jones? Isn’t that Samantha’s ex–best friend, the one that cheated with her ex–boyfriend? She’s also Ellora’s PA, right?” Cia asked.
“Yep, the one and the same.”
I get a notification on my phone and so do Cia and Kimber. We all watch as someone who looks exactly like Samantha walks quickly to the elevators. I see Alice greet her and then look
confused as she’s ignored.
The image changes, and we watch the impostor walk straight to Samantha’s computer and
stick a dongle in her computer. Then pull something out of the thick jacket she’s wearing. It
looks like a handheld computer.
“I think that’s a password computer cracker. They’re new on the black market. I have two,” Cia
muttered.
“I want one,” Kimber whined. Cia nodded.

A knock on my office door caught our attention. Kimber opened it and smiled, gesturing Alice to come in.
“Mr. Krew, what can I do for you?” She asked politely.
“When Samantha and I walked in this morning you said something about her changing? What did you mean by that?”
“Well, she came in just after I did this morning. Since I or Renee, or Rebecca are the first
people here in the mornings, I found it odd that she was without you. I greeted her, but she
just went straight to the elevators with her head down. Normally she greets me, and we talk
for a minute, but I just figured she must have been in a hurry. I didn’t see her come back down
though. I did step away to get myself a coffee, so she could have left then.”
“Did you get a good look at her? You’re sure it was her?”
She paused, and her eyes became unfocused. I imagine she was trying to bring up the image
of the impostor in her head.
“I found it odd that her head was down. She always walks with so much confidence. At first
glance, it looked just like her. But now that I think about it, she seemed taller? Plus you
weren’t with her, now I feel like I did something wrong,” she mumbled.
“No, not at all, Alice. I highly appreciate your observations. Thank you so much. You may go
back down.” She nodded and turned. I waited for her to shut the door before I looked at my
sisters.
“Avery is four inches taller than Samantha. But if you aren’t paying attention, you could miss it. She’s changed her appearance so much she looks like Samantha. Her bulky jacket hides her rack. If she wore something more form fitting, it would have been obvious she wasn’t
Samantha.”
“Well, we have the video, let’s bring her and Ellora in,” Cia said.
“All the video shows is Samantha putting something in her computer and then sending out an
email. No, we need to come up with a plan,” I said.
Just then, I got a text from that same unknown number.
I can’t wait to feel your hands all over my body. Let’s meet up soon.
I smirked. I held my phone out and Kimber came over and grabbed it.
“Holy f*ck, this is the kind of sh*t that’s being sent to you?”
“I think it’s Avery.”

“Reply back and tell her you’re looking forward to it. I have a plan,” Cia said.
I grabbed my phone and sent what she said.
Tonight 8 p.m. at Taki
“She wants to meet tonight at Taki.”
“Go. When she shows up, take her out the back. We will be waiting.”
I texted that I’d be there. Game on b*tch. I’m going to make you disappear.

“He finally texted me back and took the bait. This is our chance.”
“Well, then come here, and I’ll make you feel good, and we’ll have everything we need.”
I scoffed.
“You can’t make me feel sh*t. You’re just a means to an end.”
“I’m going to make you regret saying that.”
“Elliot. All you have to do is pretend I’m Sam. You can even call me by her name. In fact, I
insist on it. Call me Sammy, Elliot.”
He pulled me into his arms and we kissed.
“I’ve wanted you for so long, Sammy. You should never have left me.”
He ripped at the robe I was wearing. He picked me up, and I wrapped my legs around him. He
sat on my couch. I arched as he plunged into me to make sure my face was half hidden. I
angled my body to keep my br*asts from looking too big. I rode him as he chanted Sammy,
and told me how much he loved me and how much he’s wanted me over the years.
This isn’t going to work.
“It will work.”
“Yeah it will. I’m working you now baby.”
You’re so f*cking stupid.
Elliot groaned as he came.
“You f*cking a*shole, I was nowhere finished.”

He reached down between us and rubbed my cl*t fast.
“Yeah, right there, yes!” I screamed as I came.
“Sorry Ave, you just felt so good.”
“I’m not Avery, I’m Sammy!” I screamed into his face.
“Okay, okay, I guess we’re still role–playing.”
“No, no sorry. I was just in the moment,” I mumbled.
The laughter in my head had me tumbling off Elliot. I went to my kitchen cabinet and got my pills. I took one out and swallowed it and waited until the laughter stopped.
I went to my phone and looked at the images captured. Perfect. I sent them to my laptop. This was going to take me all night to edit. But it would be worth it. I just needed them to be separated for a couple of hours for my plan to work.”
Elliot finally left. He was tired of me ignoring him as I worked on my computer. I looked at the clock and saw it was 8 p.m. I smirked, wondering how long Dashawn would wait before he left. I looked at the final products and laughed. They were flawless. I put one set of photos in one envelope and I put another set in another envelope. This was going to be fun. His world will fall apart, and I will be there to pick up the pieces when she comes around to forgiving
- me.
Cia
“Do you have the chloroform ready?” I asked Kimber.
She nodded and held up a rag and bottle in her gloved hands. Early it was fifty degrees and now it was thirty, I was freezing. I looked at my phone. It was eight forty–five. How much longer was Dashawn going to wait? I texted him.
Anything yet?
Big Brother: Nothing. Maybe we should call it a night.
Wait until nine. If she hasn’t shown then, let’s get out of here.
Big Brother: These sushi rolls are good. Do you girls want some?
“Shawn wants to know if we want some sushi.”
“Ooh yeah, I want a Philadelphia roll and some Miso soup.”

“That sounds fire.”
Two Philadelphia rolls and two Miso soups.”
Big Brother: Got you.
We waited another fifteen minutes and then Dashawn came out of the back of the restaurant
with a plastic bag.
“Here’s your food. She never showed up, obviously.”
“Why send you here if she wasn’t going to show?” Kimber asked, opening the lid on her soup. Steam billowed out and she sipped.
“So good,” she sighed.
“She has something up her sleeve. I feel like it’s something big,” I said.
Dashawn nodded and Kimber continued to drink her soup. I opened mine and hummed when
it hit my tongue.
“Let’s just leave,” Dashawn said.
I dropped him off twenty minutes later. Kimber had me drop her off at Matt’s and I decided to
see my man.
I turned into his building. He lived on the twentieth floor where his condo was.
I knocked all smiles waiting for him when a stunning blonde opened the door. She was in a black plush robe. Her hair was wet, and she was giving me a confused but small smile.
“Hi, can I help you?”
“Who in the f*ck are you?” I asked politely, even though I wanted to throw myself at her.
“I’m Addison, Ashie’s girlfriend.”
My eyes widened. What? I could feel the blood drain from my face and I know I swayed on my feet because she reached out to me with concern on her face. I hastily backed up. I turned towards the elevator when I heard her calling out for “Ashie.” I frantically pushed the elevator button. I could feel myself falling apart. He said he loved me. He said we were forever. I wanted to puke. The elevator doors opened, and I rushed inside, turning and hitting the button for the bottom floor. I looked up just as Ashton came to the door. I saw her say something to him, and his head whipped around to look at her. The look he gave her should have scared the
sh*t out of her.
“Well, how in the f*ck would I know that,” I heard her say as the doors started to close.

“Cia!” Ashton shouted. I could only stare at his frantic look as the doors finally closed.
I slowly crouched down. Sobbing as I wrapped my arms under my bent legs and hugged myself. This can’t be happening. I couldn’t have gotten him wrong. How much do I really know about him? He worked at our company. He’s one of three children. He’s the middle
child. He’s worked for our company for five years. I was going to need to take a break. I
couldn’t be in the same building seeing him every day right now. Just before the elevator
came to a stop. I stood. I tried wiping the tears from my face, but they just kept coming. The
elevator stopped and the doors opened. I went to take a step but froze. He was right there, leaning against the opening, breathing hard. I didn’t think, I just reacted. I pulled back my right
arm and punched him in the throat. His eyes went wide, and he choked as he grabbed for his
neck.
“I F*CKING HATE YOUUUUU!” I screamed. The look of pure agony came over his face. He
held out a hand and tried to speak, but he was still choking.
I pushed past him and walked quickly out of the lobby. The front desk clerk ran over to
Ashton, but I didn’t stick around to see what he would do. I left the building sobbing. I could
hardly see, my eyes were so blurry. I lurched to the side and threw up in the bushes. I was so
upset I was making myself sick.
A hand on my back rubbing it had me whirling around. Ashton’s girlfriend stood there with her
hands out in front of her like she was bracing herself for my attack.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have told you I was his girlfriend. I thought you were some gold digging
wh*re trying to get her hooks in my big brother.”
“What?” I asked in astonishment.
“I said, I thought you were some gold digging wh*re. Sometimes when I visit, Ashie and I go
out to dinner or to some fun place and some woman tries to hook up with him. This was a
first for me with a woman showing up at his door. So, I assumed you were some random, I didn’t know you were Cia. I’m so sorry.”
“You’re his sister? You’re Addy? I don’t know why that didn’t click when you said Addison, I
was too stuck on the word girlfriend.”
“Again, I’m so so sorry.”
Running footsteps and ragged breathing came from my left. I looked over and was slammed
against a hard body.
“It’s not what you think, baby, I swear, she isn’t my girlfriend.”
Didn’t Go As Planned
“I know,” I mumbled against his chest.
“What?”
“I said, I know. She just explained it to me.”
“Oh, thank f*ck!” He breathed out with relief.
Addy waved at us, and she went back into the building.
“I’m sorry I just wanted to see you, I should have called,” I said, quietly.
“You never have to call. In fact, here.” He reached into his pocket and gave me a card.
“This is the card to my door. I can get another one. Use it whenever you want. My place is
your place.”
“Seriously? You’re giving me your key card?”
“Yes. I want you to come over as much as you want. You can stay as long as you want. You could, I don’t know, bring some clothes over and put them in my closet if you wanted. I can
clean out a couple of drawers. I have double sinks in the bathroom. You can put your girly
stuff in there.”
He looked hopeful.
“Are you asking me to move in with you?”
“I mean if that’s what you want, yeah. Or if you don’t, you just keep a couple of things over for
when you spend the night?”
“I’d like to move in with you.”
“F*ck yes!” he crowed.
He leaned down to kiss me and I jerked back. He looked stunned and hurt.
“Baby?”
“I um, threw
up
in the bushes,” I embarrassingly said.
He grinned and nodded.
“Come on, I’ll finally introduce you to my baby sister. How about instead of going to the compound this weekend? You come home with me to my parents‘ place? I’d like you to meet
them.”
“Okay,” I said with a grin. F*cking emotional roller coaster, but I was glad to be off that ride and having everything figured out. Now if only we could get my brother’s sh*t figured out just
