“My uncle put me in kickboxing and at the gym where I go, they do a little bit of MMA training. It started out to keep my depression at bay, and it morphed into me really liking it and doing it to keep in shape.”
“That was really smart of your uncle,” Becs said.
“Yeah, I was a wreck after what Avery and Elliot did. I just needed an outlet. It really helped.

Everyone chuckled, including myself. He leaned down and kissed my head,
“Want to go for a ride, Sweet Girl?” he asked with a smile. I sighed as the dimple popped out. I squirmed in my seat and all the women chuckled. I gave them a wide–eyed innocent look, and they burst into laughter.
“What’s this about?” Dashawn asked.
“Nothing, and yes, I’d love to go for a ride.”
“Then let’s go.” He held out his hand and I took it. I waved to everyone and followed my hunk out of the
kitchen.
