CHAPTER 185: DARE TO LOVE ME Epilogue Ashley Part 1
Ashley
They finished my makeup as chaos swirled around us. Mallorca had turned out to be a beautiful and perfect place for a wedding. We’d doubted it for a moment when the planner suggested it, but now I thought it was incredible. The sun and blue sky looked beautiful, as if they were a sign for us, that this was the perfect day to celebrate our love.
I looked at Alaia, who already looked gorgeous with her makeup and hair done. We had both decided on loose wavy hair and wanted mermaid–style dresses. The veils were similar, but each garment showed our personality in every detail.
“Oh, I’m so nervous, I even feel like I’m going to have a heart attack,” Tino fanned himself while helping us get dressed.
“Honey, calm down, you weren’t even this nervous at your wedding,” I said, adjusting my veil.
“It’s the wedding of the year, the wedding of the girls I love the most in the world. I want everything to be perfect.”
He continued to pace around as Erika, Alaia’s assistant, entered along with Loli and Caty (Nick’s sister), our bridesmaids.
“You look beautiful,” Tino walked over and checked that their dresses were in order. The color chosen was lilac. “But what’s wrong, honey?” my friend asked, and we looked at where he was pointing.
We realized that Loli had lost the color in her face and had sat down on the bed. Erika looked for water and we all surrounded her, giving her space to breathe.
“I’ll call Cedric’s father. They told me they had already arrived,” Alaia said, reaching for her phone.
“No, no, Alaia, it won’t be necessary. It was because of the pregnancy,” Loli said, leaving us speechless. Nobody said anything.
“But Loli, woman of God, how can you drop that bomb on us like this?” Tino was indignant as
he sat down next to her.
“I’m sorry, I wanted to wait until they got back from their honeymoon to tell you, but I saw you so worried that I had no choice but to tell you,” she looked at us, and the sparkle in her eyes told us how happy she was with the news.
“Oh my God, I’m going to be an uncle again!” Tino fanned himself with his hand.

“We’re going to be aunts,” Alaia looked at her affectionately, and we approached excitedly to congratulate her.
“There’s a baby epidemic going around. First, Mama Pau, who surprised us all with the news, now Loli, and I’m sure, the way you and your men are going at it like rabbits, I’ll have more nieces and nephews soon,” Tino assured us, and we looked at him with our mouths open.
“Honey,” I said–he would never be discreet.
“Well, it won’t be anytime soon for me,” Alaia told us. “I want the little ones to grow up a bit more before we think about another baby. I’ve talked to Nick and he agrees. We’re going to enjoy our two children until the time comes when heaven decides to send us a new little
angel,” she explained, and everyone looked at me.
“Don’t look at me. Yes, we want to have children to love and care for, but I’m not thinking about
having them yet. We’re going to take precautions for a few more months and enjoy each other
until we decide it’s time,” I expressed what I’d discussed with Will.
“Well, I’m not getting pregnant, I’m not going to ruin my figure. I’m going to be like my aunt
Judith, who married an oil millionaire. He already had children, but she always knew she didn’t
want to be a mother and she’s stuck to it. Now she’s living the high life with her handsome
husband and she’s our favorite aunt. So I’m going to be her, the doting, millionaire aunt, and
the favorite of all my nieces and nephews, the ones who are here and the ones who are
coming–they better be many,” he took our hands. How this boy changed his mind, my God.
They announced that we must go down for the ceremony, and so we did.
“I’m nervous,” Alaia and I said at the same time, “and happy at the same time.” We did it again.
and laughed–the connection I had with my cousin was wonderful, I couldn’t love her more
than I already did.
We arrived where my grandfather was, who would walk me down the aisle, and my uncle
Patrick, who would walk Alaia down.
The music played and I saw my love at the altar, his eyes welling up, and I melted. I’d seen this at other weddings, but I didn’t think it would happen to me. I looked at my cousin and Nick, and I noticed that emotions were overwhelming us all. During the ceremony, Will and I couldn’t stop looking at each other and smiling.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife,” the priest finished and asked us to kiss, just as the colorful fireworks lit up the sea beyond the altar, and we heard everyone applauding.
“This is the best day of my life,” Will looked into my eyes and I caressed his chest.
“Of our lives, my love,” I said and kissed him. We walked together towards the garden

decorated for the celebration. Alaia and I shared a smile and went to the beautiful main table
prepared for us.
I happily observed our friends, the people who worked for us, and our family members, except for my father, whom I hadn’t heard from since that day.
I stood for a moment looking at each of them. Loli and Gavin couldn’t look more in love; Will’s parents, Keith Garnett and Gisel, whom I’d met recently, as it had been difficult for them to leave the country where they were, were wonderful people and had welcomed me very well. I’d found out that he was never really interested in the Garnett family business and had had a distant relationship with his father, and it all got worse when he decided to marry Gisel, a woman Killian never approved of, although Keith still owned half of the companies, which Will currently ran.
We finished dancing the first song as husband and wife, and Cedric approached us.
